Smilers seek to limit your options as you navigate, but helpful items such as the Key Card and Clockwork Torch can guide your way and get you into places these entities would rather you not access.

Offensive items are also within reach, and you’ll find yourself slinging about Oil Slick and Petrol Shrooms to take these Unfriendlies down to size as you search out the Golden Exit to escape from this unending nightmare. Additionally, you might come across the ever-useful Memory Fluid, which provides multiple possibilities, allowing you to tame the Wyrms or re-orient the field itself as you lose some Sanity to create a new pathway for yourself. And keep your eyes peeled in case you come across Alia’s Enforcer, a powerhouse Companion that can provide a major edge in this terrifying concrete world. Steel yourself for a tough journey, and given enough time, luck, and determination, you may survive this long enough to stumble upon the Golden Exit.
